St Crispin’s Hospital
I went here around 3 years ago and I was disappointed with the pictures I took, due to not using a tripod with my camera. Ella hadn’t been before so we decided to go and have a look. Not a lot has changed, there’s still building work going on around the site and the bit we wanted to go in seems to be where the builders have their site office. Lucky for us they weren’t working this day. So the back building is literally roofless and home to birds and decay and really slippery underfoot, unfortunately you can’t access the clock tower unless you’re a braver person than me. The better building is the one at the front that is still as it was 3 years ago with some added deterioration,graffiti and fox shit. Unfortunately, unless you want to take your chances beam walking, the upstairs is out of bounds. You can get to the top of both staircases, there’s a nice “spooky chair room” up one of them.
