Trashed and Vandalised

I went back at the weekend and this is the state it is now in 



Why? What pleasure does anyone get from completely trashing places? OK so it’s an abandoned place but it still deserves the same level of respect as any other building. Would you do this to your own home? No, so why would you do it to this place?  By you I’m just generalising not accusing.

Lots of abandoned buildings become a hub for graffiti artists and shit taggers and those who think it’s funny, clever and original to spray racist words and symbols all over walls.  I have news for you latter idiots with spray cans, it’s shit. It makes you look like the kind of person who has a rusty fridge freezer and a natty old sofa been sat in your front garden for 6 years, gutter scum.  Graffiti artists do amazing work, you don’t.

Of course an abandoned building will attract people who hang out in there with their mates, that’s fine, we all need our own space but why smash the place up? What is the enjoyment in doing it? 




3 different locations all with windows smashed, internal decor smashed. There is no need.

However, we can’t always blame the “bored kids”. There are some people who call themselves explorers who smash shit up.  They go to a nice abandoned house like in the first picture and they wreck it out of spite. Usually the spite of not wanting anyone else to enjoy it.  Spraying other explorers names on walls so people blame them.  What planet are they from? Miserable, spiteful bag-heads. Urbex is not the community for you, we don’t want you.

It pisses me off…

 I’ve been very quiet recently with urbex, I’ve got a few visits to post but currently can’t be arsed.  Let me tell you why… Urbex has gone to absolute shit.  All I see now are posts of the same place from everyone and his dog, like why must everyone all run to the latest find like little rats scurrying after the Pied Piper?  Is the UK scene really that dry? I’ve thousands of pins, most are probably an utter pile of crap but you never know until you go and with the right ideas you can make even the most boring place look interesting through photography.   I’m not being a hypocrite, I’ve been to hotspots and I’ll probably end up at some of them but this need for everyone to immediately turn up and take the same photos and saturate social media with them is mind boggling.  Do it at your own pace instead of all rushing and publicising at the same time and just maybe places won’t get vandalised or sealed within a matter of days. St Crispin’s Hospital

  I went here around 3 years ago and I was disappointed with the pictures I took, due to not using a tripod with my camera.  Ella hadn’t been before so we decided to go and have a look.  Not a lot has changed, there’s still building work going on around the site and the bit we wanted to go in seems to be where the builders have their site office.  Lucky for us they weren’t working this day. So the back building is literally roofless and home to birds and decay and really slippery underfoot, unfortunately you can’t access the clock tower unless you’re a braver person than me.  The better building is the one at the front that is still as it was 3 years ago with some added deterioration,graffiti and fox shit.  Unfortunately, unless you want to take your chances beam walking, the upstairs is out of bounds. Curse of the Sellout

  For what reason would anyone sell their photos of explores other than to flex and make money. There are many reasons places get destroyed by vandalism and one of these reasons lay at the feet of the sellouts.  Not content with sharing their photos on their social media pages the sellout will sell their photos to the media for a measly sum of money.  The location is then out there for everyone to find including those that purposely ruin locations.   Is that measly money worth it? What do you gain from it? Some likes and comments that blow smoke up your arse.  WOW.  You’re not special when you sell out, you’re actually viewed as a c*nt by those of us who enjoy the hobby and protect locations.  But I guess you have to fund your never ending quest for fame somehow.  Just know that you are a bottom feeder.
